Part-pay your bill:
Deferit can be used to part-pay a bill too! You are in full control and can choose how much of your balance is used towards a bill.
For example, if your account limit is $500 and your bill is $575, we can pay $500 towards this bill for you as long as your biller allows part payments.
Pay your bill in full, with our Pay Extra feature:
If you have paid off 1 bill with us, you are eligible to use our Pay Extra feature too! This allows you to pay the full amount of a bill, even if it exceeds your available balance.
Just upload your bill and enter the full amount you want to pay towards your bill (even if it is over your available balance), and the app or website will automatically add the difference between the amount you want to pay and your available balance to your first installment to make sure it gets paid in full.
For example, if your balance is $500 and your bill is $575, just enter in $575 when uploading your bill and the additional $75 will be added onto your first installment. Once you pay the first installment, the entire bill will be paid off for you!
*Please note that this feature is only available after you have successfully deferred a bill with us.
For registrations and insurance:
There are some bills, such as vehicle registrations that we are unable to part-pay. This is because the biller requires us to pay the fixed full amount. If you have a registration due that is over your account limit, then you will have to use Pay Extra. In these special cases Pay Extra is available for your first bill!
