While we try to avoid a fee increase whenever we can, our cost of doing business has risen alongside rising prices globally. Given we do not charge interest or late fees, changing the monthly subscription fee is the only way we can maintain the same quality of service. Therefore, from 12AM (EST) November 1, 2022, the subscription fee will be $14.99 for all active subscriptions.
We promise this is the last subscription fee increase you will see on your Deferit account and this latest change allows us to deliver even more value for the single fee with new features, rewards programs, and more in the works.
Our new Credit building feature where your everyday bill payments can now help build your credit history is included for free with every subscription. You asked and with overwhelming demand we delivered! We know the most critical factor to improving your credit score is on-time payment history and we now report all Pay in 4 and Pay in 1 payments to help build your credit score. Generally, the longer you hold an account and the more positive payment history you have the better your credit score will be and the more financial benefit you will have. Making on-time payments with Deferit can add a history of positive payments to your credit profile!
