You can use Deferit to pay most everyday billers — from utilities to insurance — as long as the bill meets our eligibility requirements. We support both Pay in 4 and Bill Pay options for many billers, and we’ll let you know if a bill isn’t eligible during the upload process.
Supported billers
You can upload bills from providers that:
- Show a total amount due
- Have a clear due date
- Include payment instructions (account number, barcode, or mailing details)
Examples of supported billers:
- Utilities: PG&E, Con Edison, Florida Power & Light, National Grid
- Phone: Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile
- Internet & cable: Spectrum, Xfinity, Cox
- Vehicle registration: DMV fees (state-dependent)
- Insurance: Geico, Progressive, State Farm, Allstate
- Court fines or tickets (state-dependent)
Unsupported billers
We cannot process:
- Credit card payments
- Loans (personal, auto, student)
- Buy Now, Pay Later services (Klarna, Affirm, Afterpay)
- Subscription services (Netflix, Spotify)
- Donations/crowdfunding (GoFundMe)
- Court-ordered payments (child support, alimony)
